When I'm not solving all the world's problems with spreadsheets and canva designs, I try to get out there and live a little!
Living Jewishly
One of the main reasons I chose to work in Jewish non-profit was to live jewishly. On the weekends, you'll find me baking challah, hosting Shabbat dinners with friends, and devouring my Sunday morning bagel and lox. Now, with our daughter Avi, that commitment feels even more personal — raising her with a strong connection to Jewish culture, community, and tradition is something my husband Ben and I care about deeply, and it's already showing up in how we celebrate and gather as a family.
Designing for Fun
I love a creative outlet — most recently that's meant picking up embroidery, which has been a fun way to slow down and make something with my hands. That same instinct shows up in the invitations, programs, and keepsakes I design for the people I love: my own wedding, holiday gatherings I've hosted, and Avi's baby naming. When I'm not making something, I'm reading — usually a thriller, ideally with an unreliable narrator and a twist I didn't see coming.
Planning The Next Trip
Travel is a big part of how our family stays connected — whether I'm helping plan a trip with my dad's side or tagging along on an adventure with my husband's family, I'm usually the one with seventeen browser tabs open comparing flights and creating itineraries. This past December, we traveled to Israel, which was as meaningful as it was fun — fully immersed in the culture and history, with my husband by my side and Avi along for the ride, still a few months from making her debut.
